The seal recalls the emblem associated with Emperor Constantine — the Chi-Rho sign of Christ — and the words IN HOC SIGNO VINCES, “By this sign you shall conquer.” The radiating cross symbolizes the graces shared by Jesus, the divine and loving teacher of mankind.
