About HCCC

An educational community rooted in faith and service

Holy Cross College of Carigara, Incorporated is a diocesan learning community in Carigara, Leyte — forming Holy Crossians since 1945.

Who We Are

Holy Cross College of Carigara

Located at Rebolledo St., Ponong, Carigara, Leyte, HCCC serves students and families through Junior High, Senior High, and College pathways.

HCCC is a non-stock, non-profit corporation owned and managed by the Palo Archdiocese, with the Archbishop as corporation sole.

For decades, the Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration (OSF) of Baybay, Leyte have served and administered the school’s operations and formation — helping expand infrastructure, support learners, and strengthen access to Catholic education in Carigara and neighboring communities.

The institution has long sought to serve families seeking quality education grounded in faith, including pathways that help less fortunate learners pursue studies and grants.

As a government-recognized and PEAC-certified institution, HCCCI works to make quality private education accessible, including through pathways such as the ESC subsidy.

Patron & Seal

Patron and HCCC Seal

The seal recalls the emblem associated with Emperor Constantine — the Chi-Rho sign of Christ — and the words IN HOC SIGNO VINCES, “By this sign you shall conquer.”

The radiating cross symbolizes the graces shared by Jesus, the divine and loving teacher of mankind.

Persistence

Persevering through challenges — applying knowledge with determination and hope.

Choosing what is just and good, with the right attitude and responsible decisions.
